26 Years of Experience
Andrew Lewko, Dennis Tani and Pansy Jang have worked together for 26 years. After 26 years of practice it is fair to ask, what motivates us to come to work every day? The answer is simple: Passion. We love our jobs and enjoy working in our chosen field. We love the diversity of people who visit our office and have developed a comfortable and loyal following.
The therapists at 5th Ave Therapeutic Massage & Acupuncture Clinic work well as a team. Andrew, Dennis and Pansy went to massage school together and branched out to our own avenues. We are happy to have Francesca Fabbri, D.O.M.P join our team, and together we join forces to provide a diverse and well-rounded clinic. We are committed to providing comfort and pain relief to our patients, using our years of experience, in combination with the latest knowledge and techniques in the industry. Francesca Fabbri, D.O.M.P
I was born and raised in Italy. I developed my passion for understanding the human body, when after a fall playing volleyball at age 16, physiotherapy treatments were necessary.
In 1998 I graduated as a Doctor of Physiotherapy with honors from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. I then started working as a hydrokinesis therapist, massage therapist and kinesitherapist with post-surgical patients and athletes.
Daily experience taught me that Western Medicine protocols, equally applied to every single patient, was not always suitable or helpful. So, I embraced the 6 years long course of Osteopathy, at Collegio Italiano di Osteopatia, where I graduated in 2010 as D.O.M.P. Since then I was able to assist in the healing of several diseases related to the muscoloskeletal system as well as visceral issues, TMJ trouble, pregnancy pains and childhood problems.
Thanks to being simultaneously a physiotherapist (Western Medicine) and an osteopathic practitioner (holistic and alternative medicine) I consider my patients’ concerns from two points of view, treating their body accordingly.
Also I am a member of the British Columbia association OsteopathyBC/Society for the Promotion of Manual Practice of Osteopathy (SPMPO), which guarantees the highest quality levels in osteopathic treatment and continuous updating. I am really happy to join Pansy, Andrew and Dennis at the 5th Ave Therapeutic Massage and Acupuncture Clinic!
