Andrew Lewko, Dennis Tani and Pansy Jang have worked together for 27 years. After 27 years of practice it is fair to ask, what motivates us to come to work every day? The answer is simple: Passion. The therapists at 5th Ave Therapeutic Massage & Acupuncture Clinic work well as a team. Andrew, Dennis and Pansy went to massage school together and branched out to their own avenues. We are committed to providing comfort and pain relief to our patients, using our years of experience, in combination with the latest knowledge and techniques in the industry. Pansy Jang, BA, RMT, Dr.TCM, D.O.M.P., BSc (HONS) Osteopathy
Pansy Jang has enjoyed 27 years of health care experience. She first completed her massage therapy training in 1993 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Needing to understand more, she attended the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and graduated in 1998. In 2003, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture became a regulated health modality under the Health Professions Act of British Columbia, and Pansy was granted the official title of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which entitles her to practice acupuncture and to prescribe Chinese herbs. In 2004 she completed a program for a Master of Clinical of Hypnotherapy. In 2010, after taking a 5 year part-time course and completing a thesis, she received a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice (D.O.M.P.) from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques), and continued her osteopathy training receiving in 2013 a B.Sc. (HONS) Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM). She previously served as president, secretary and director at large for the board of OsteopathyBC/SPMPO, and previous president and current secretary/treasurer for City Stage New West, a society that aims to keep professional theatre in New Westminster since 2005. She studied Medical Qi Gong for several years with the Empty Mountain Institute and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Clinical Psychological program at Yorkville University. She continues to learn all she can about the uniqueness of every individual. Besides her hobby of taking courses, Pansy also enjoys dancing, reading, and travelling.
